DESTINATION MARS
UNITY - C# - PHOTOSHOP - ILLUSTRATOR

→ Video game made as part of an object-oriented development course
As part of a course on object-oriented computer development and the SCRUM agile project management method, I designed a video game prototype on Unity, in C#, with some classmates.
This city-building simulation game puts us in control of a group of colonists who must establish a base on Mars while managing its survival resources. The theme of space conquest was close to our hearts with my team, because beyond lending itself easily to the support of the game, it is above all a topical subject.
I took the initiative to imagine the overall look of the game and to design and implement its user interface. My desire was to combine a futuristic vintage and cartoon aspect, with a color palette straight out of the Futurama series, with a pixel art characteristic of retro games on an arcade machine. The choice of pixel art was wise to meet the deadlines of the pro-jet while performing the manygame sprites.
