UNITY - C# - PHOTOSHOP - ILLUSTRATOR
APRIL 2020
In April 2020, I realized the visual aspect of the game Loading... as part of the 46th edition of the Ludum Dare. This video game development competition, known as Game Jam, had the theme “Keep it alive” and took place over 48 hours.
With my “7fault” team, we made a game on Unity similar to a physical toy, where the player controls the loading circle of the game in question. The player must then make his way between the corrupted game data, monster-glitchs, to recover the data that will allow him to launch the game. This reverse and cyclic approach to the game, in the form of endless loading, allows to dive straight into the action and offer smooth gameplay with intuitive mouse control.
My main role was to think about everything that would create the atmosphere of the game and to design the graphic elements that would make it alive: particle effects, progression animations as well as easily identifiable enemies to distinguish their behavior. This project allowed me to explore various aspects of video game development, both from the point of view of C# code and the use of Unity tools.
