This dissertation explores the intersection between esotericism and technology, focusing on club culture and electronic music. I seek to understand why these artistic communities turn to technological esotericism to create new narratives and aesthetics, in our current context of globalized technological and informational neoliberalism. Using interviews, event observations, and analysis of visual communication, I examine how this convergence influences creative practices and reveals the paradoxes of capitalism and counterculture desires.
